A: I have been involved in the beauty industry for many years, growing into the role of salon owner through hands on experience, education, and leadership. My journey has always been rooted in creating spaces that elevate both the professional and the guest experience.

Q: How long has your salon been in business?

A: Capital Salon and Suites has been open since October of 2021, making this our fourth year in business.

Q: What is the story behind your salon’s name? Does it have any special meaning or story?

A: There are two stories behind the name Capital. First, it takes a lot of capital to own and operate a salon. Second, the capital of a city is typically the central hub where everything comes together and where people are provided for. I wanted the name to feel elevated and bold, without being directly tied to hair. While the full name is Capital Salon and Suites, most people simply call it The Capital, and that says a lot about who we are.

Q: If you had to describe your salon in three words, what would they be and why?

A: Empowerment, elevation, and community. Empowerment for both the professionals and the guests, elevation through creating a safe haven where people feel lifted, and community through connection and shared growth.

Q: What is one Milbon product you can't live without, and why?

A: The Reawaken Collection is something we cannot live without. It works incredibly well for a wide range of clients, especially those maintaining their hair, transitioning to natural looks, or wearing extensions. It is effective, accessible, and delivers results that clients immediately recognize.

A: We chose Milbon because the product experience speaks for itself. From presentation to performance, clients can see, feel, and smell the difference. When a product performs at that level, education becomes natural and trust follows.

A: The Milbon Concept Salon vision closely aligns with our own. It focuses on education, elevated experiences, consistency, and intentional design. It reflects exactly how I envisioned a concept salon should feel and operate.
