Q: How long has your salon been in business?

A: I opened Station Row 13 years ago in Newton Highlands. Over that time, Station Row has become a gathering point for our community. I feel very privileged to watch how our clientele has expanded through friends referring their friends or family bringing their loved ones to meet their new stylist.

A: Capital Salon and Suites has been open since October of 2021, making this our fourth year in business.

A: I started as a professional in the industry on Newbury Street 30 years ago, but my love of hair goes back much further. Even as a kid, I loved braiding and styling hair. I grew up with horses and I was obsessed with brushing, grooming, and braiding their manes and tails. That passion for styling and design never left me and I’ve been working with hair ever since.

Q: If you had to describe your salon in three words?

A: Station Row is warm, attentive, and dependable. We deliver beautiful hair by listening to our clients wants and utilizing Milbon’s products to help create the perfect personalized style for all.

Q: What is one Milbon product you can't live without, and why?

A: I use the Heat Repair Mist on practically all of my blowdries. On top of keeping the hair silky and soft, I love the simplicity of a heat protectant spray designed for wet hair. It keeps my clients’ hair healthy, strong, and refreshed between appointments.

And everyone swears by the Dry Texturing spray for the perfect finish!
